Nice to meet you!

I’m Júnior França, photographer, drone pilot, and expedition guide passionate about the frozen regions of the southern hemisphere. Over the past five years, I’ve lived between embarkations and disembarkations in the extreme landscapes of Antarctica, the Falkland Islands, and South Georgia, guiding groups and capturing the silent stories sculpted by time and ice.

With every expedition, I learn more about what it means to live in balance with nature. Watching how animals face the cold, build their routines, care for one another, and follow their instincts with wisdom teaches me more than any book could. These lessons of strength, simplicity, and connection are what I try to translate into every image I share.

Photography, to me, is a way of listening — of being present, attentive, and respectful before something far greater than ourselves.
More than freezing moments in time, I want to spark emotions, awaken empathy, and raise awareness. I want everyone who sees one of my photographs to feel — even from afar — the grandeur of these places and understand why they must be protected.

Junior Frames was born from this desire: to bring people closer to distant realities, to inspire care and admiration for territories that defy time, and to tell — with light, patience, and reverence — the stories of the wildlife that inhabits the ends of the Earth.
